Deliveries

Passenger elevators were designed solely for transporting building tenants and their guests to and from their offices.  For this reason, all deliveries, other than of small, hand-carried objects, are restricted to the loading dock, freight elevator and other service facilities of the building.

Specifically, building regulations prohibit all deliveries and inter-floor activities on passenger elevators which require the use of hand-trucks or two-or four wheeled carts such as mail carts, as well as movement of bulky objects regardless of how they are carried.  In addition, construction personnel are required to use the freight elevator for all inter-floor movement as a means of controlling dust and debris.

Firms involved in moving furniture and equipment must submit a Certificate of Insurance with the Building Office before freight elevator service can be scheduled.  Contact the Building Office for the required format of the certificate.


Messenger Center

Our newly constructed messenger center facility is located in the Parking Garage Level of 810 Seventh Avenue and can be accessed via Stairway D located across from the lobby desk.  You will need your 810 Security Card to gain access through this door.  The messenger center is managed by Dynamex.  Their telephone number is (212) 247-3451.    

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm.  All inbound and outgoing letters and packages (up to 15lbs.) will be handled by uniformed carriers then managed and tracked at the Messenger Center by Dynamex’s state of the art electronic equipment and supporting software.
Food and catering deliveries are not permitted up to the receiving floor.  All tenants will have to come down to the lobby to receive these deliveries.  Catering orders will be allowed to the floor, with a tenant escort, so that they may set-up for the intended event.  Below are the service guidelines for your review.  As always feel free to contact us if you have any questions.


Dynamex

Please follow the procedures listed below when you are having any items picked up at the Messenger Center facility.
  • Fill out a Messenger Center order form; One form for every pick up.
  • Call the Messenger Center office to place an order for pick up (212) 247-3451.
  • Please identify yourself (company, floor & your name).
  • Obtain a tracking number from the Center; place that number in the space provided on the order form.
  • After receiving the tracking number, call your courier and place the order.
  • No packages will be released to anyone with out the tracking number. Please understand there will be no exceptions to this rule under any circumstances.
